Richard Wesh was not 5 years old in 1970! The boy he lifted into the air may have been 5 years old.

The three remaining July 4th programs from Dave and Linda Ramsay are for the years: 1969, 1972 and 1976. Here's the 1969 program --- and a new cover! (Independence Hall was on the cover of the previous eight program postings.) Of special note amongst the 1969 activities is the dedication ceremony for Langston Field.

1968 4th of July Program

The collection of July 4th programs donated by Dave and Linda Ramsay jumps from 1963 to 1968. The 1968 program includes a significant change from 1963 --- the concert by the Original Hobo Band was extended an hour and the subsequent dancing was dropped from the evening activities. (We should be able to determine the exact year by looking at the programs for 1964-1967.) Also noteworthy are the appearance of Walt's Barber Shop and American Legion Post No. 192 to the list of contributors on the back cover.

1963 4th of July Program

Here's the program for July 4, 1963. The program, which was donated by Dave and Linda Ramsay, sports another Independence Hall cover and full day of activities.

1962 4th of July Program

This is the program for Wenonah's 1962 July 4th festivities. It was also donated by Dave and Linda Ramsay. The lineup appears nearly identical to 1961, with the exception of a few changes to the 10:00 o'clock speakers and the advertisers on the back cover. Dancing continues until midnight in the park!

1960 4th of July Program

This is the program for Wenonah's 1960 July 4th festivities. It was also donated by Dave and Linda Ramsay. The married men vs single men softball game tradition continues, as does the Hobo Band concert in the park. However, the Sinclair gas station is not amongst the advertisers. Did Dino leave Wenonah between the 1959 and 1960 celebrations?

1959 4th of July Program

Here's another July 4th program donated to the Wenonah Historical Society by Dave and Linda Ramsay. This 1959 program is very similar to the previous two for 1957 and 1958. Note that the borough's gas station is now the "Wenonah Sinclair Station." It was "Garrison's Sinclair Station" in 1957 and "Porter's Sinclair Station" in 1958.

1958 4th of July Program

This is the program from Wenonah's 1958 July 4th celebration (donated by Dave and Linda Ramsay). It's nearly the same lineup as in 1957, with the exception of a few of the 10 o'clock speakers and acknowledgments on the back cover.

1957 4th of July Program

Larry Smith wrote, "Here's the first of 11 July 4th programs donated by Dave and Linda Ramsay. It's for the 1957 celebration. The program is very much like how I remember my first Wenonah July 4th celebration --- the parade, kid events in the park and at the lake, a softball game between the married men and single men, and a Hobo Band concert."
